Scout trip

This last weekend we took our scouts up in the snow for a camp out. Here are some pictures of me. For a full read up and more pictures you can check out my scout blog. It is on my side bar.

Bathroom fun

You should get your mind washed out with soap! This is what we have been up to with our master bath over the past month or so. We laid the shower pan, easy!!!!!! Next we adjust the jacked up plumbing so that I could hook up the new regulator for the shower we are putting in. Notice the sweet bends in the pipe to get it all to fit in the wall. I know there are probably better ways of doing this but this was by far the easiest and no leaks!!! We were going to the tile/stone the shower but we had a little squeak issue so while that is getting fixed we decided to tile the floor, easy!!!! Especially since I have my own saw now and I can do it around my time schedule. I love Craigslist, good stuff for cheap.

I got called out by my friend Josh for not updating my blog, I don't know what the deal with me was but here you go. Kari and I finished her shelves that I started with my dad.

Snow Trip

This was a great weekend. Kari and I flew up to Utah to help Kirk and Erica tile their two bathrooms. I showed them how to lay the thinset and tiles and let them do all of the laying, or at least the majority of it. I focused on mixing thinset and cutting tiles, cold hands! We got both bathrooms tiled on Saturday and I came back over and showed Erica how to grout, I did one bathroom and she did the other bathroom.

Kirk Just having fun, he started out with soccer socks for knee pads then switched to pants and ended up with some real knee pads on. I guess 12 hours on your knees can change your point of view.

Erica was helping as well, she was preping the tile for laying. Kari babysat most of the day and every time I went up and down the stairs to cut another tile she would escourt Lizzy so she could see what "Cott" was doing.

Sunday Kevin, Kari, Mom, and I went up to Logan for the Ingold Christmas Party. We stopped by Bruno's to pick up Mom and went over to Leona's or a while. The party was fun, we got lots of loot. After the party the Tiffany's and our car group went up to the end of the canyon and went sledding for a while.

The trip was quick and very busy but I had a great time, thank you Bros and Ashley for the borrowed tools. It was great to see everyone even if it was on 20 min at Melly and Thresa and a good 30 min twice with Eric, I may have peed a little. Big thanks to Kev and Ashley for letting sick Kari stay and hang out. I love you all. Good times.
